INTERIOR DESIGN PROJECTS
March-August 2023
In this section I will be showcasing my design thinking, reasoning and understanding of Interior Design concepts.

Part 01 is the project for Larsen family's multipurpose living room. Part 02 is the second project where I had to redesign the client's bedroom in a semi-detached Victorian home located in a London suburb.
Part 01 -
Larsen family's multipurpose living room
Floor plan
Overview
For the Larsen family's multipurpose living room, the key objective was to create a versatile space that meets the diverse needs and interests of all family members.
The room must cater to Mark's relaxation and book storage needs, Susie's workspace and art display preferences, twin boys' activities, and includes a dining area for their extended family.

Design Process
Research and Analysis
Based on the clients' interests and backgrounds, dived deeper into their individual preferences and then worked towards merging their personalities in a harmonious space.

Option 01 - Historically Inspired

Option 02 - Contemporary

Technical Aspects
Developed detailed technical drawings including electrical and lighting plans

Design Development
Refined the concept with detailed floor plan, rendering and annotated video. Incorporated additional elements from the clients' daily lives.

Softwares used: Coohom, photoshop, InDesign

Part 02 -
Bedroom re-design
Moodboard
Overview
The client is a busy professional in his 40s who commutes to London for work and seeks a
tranquil sanctuary within his home. He has no children or pets and enjoys movies,
dining out, and exploring cities like Dublin, Venice, and Lisbon.
The desired design style was a modern country retreat that provides comfort and relaxation.

Design Process
Research and Analysis
For the concept development I spent considerable amount of time in understanding client's lifestyle and more about the cities/interests he loves exploring ( 01 ).

I also explored multiple layout options with rationale to finalise an appropriate space planning ( 02 , 03, 04 ).
An elaborate document showcasing research on materials, finishes, furniture, accessories, and lighting.
